This may not be an easy process but counselling can help you process how you think and feel about a situation. This helps get in touch with your true values away from what other people want you to do.
The way we work is suitable for any issue, but we like to focus on relationships as it is intimate relationships that keep us healthy and well. If you fail to connect with others in a healthy way this can leave us feeling lonely in a room full of people, or indeed in your marriage or long term partnership.

Often it is not what is happening to us that is difficult, it is the way we look at it. At other times it is absolutely the problem that is difficult to deal with. Everyone experiences a range of emotions and issues at times and we need time to reflect and process what has happened. We need to give ourselves time to process what we have learned about ourselves as a result of this experience. If we don’t invest this time we risk passing our pain onto other people in our lives. We might also blame others instead of the healthier approach which is to take responsibility for our emotions and situations. At times other people can project feelings onto you and this can feel confusing – what is me and what is them? We can work together to work that out.
